Inside this year’s journal:
A beautifully designed, A6, saddle-stitched, 42-page journal with 1 guided Bloom reflection process.
These are our staple journals designed to support your end-of-year reflection, now through a more ecologically sound and life-centred approach.
The themes of this year's journal that carried us through the design process were:
- Ground
- Refuge
- Calling
- Stewardship
These journals guide you through a simple and enriching Bloom process of 3 movements:
- Hindsight (looking back)
- Insight (looking in)
- Foresight (looking forward).
Additionally, this year, to create a more rounded experience, we've updated:
+ reflective prompts offered in a more eco-centred orientation;
+ quotes from a diverse range of voices;
+ visual aesthetic to match our guiding themes;
+ new embodied invitations and prompts to deepen your reflective process through engaging with the body, creative process, and conversation with the living world.
+ QR codes throughout, linking to our Digital Journal Companion, a library of guided practices and resources to support your reflective process.

Bloom combines guided reflection with an ecological and relational perspective. Rather than focusing only on personal goals and achievements, it invites you to explore your relationships, embodied experience, cultural influences, connection with place, and ways of contributing to the wider world.
-
Bloom has a commitment to giving back beyond the journal itself. Each year, the project supports a community or ecological initiative. Details of the current year's beneficiary and contribution are listed above on this year’s campaign page.
-
Yes. Bloom Journals are designed to be a thoughtful gift for yourself, friends, family, or your community. They’re designed for the transition from one Gregorian year to the next, but can be supportive at any major transition.
They’re sold in packs of 2 or more and make the perfect gift for EOY gifting. -
Nature-based contemplation, or ecological reflection, means considering our lives in relationship with the wider world. Alongside our thoughts, feelings, and goals, we pay attention to the people, places, communities, and living systems that shape and sustain us.
-
Bloom can help you clarify intentions, but it is not primarily a productivity planner. It invites a broader reflection on how you want to live, what relationships you want to tend, what deserves your attention and how your life might contribute to the world around you.
